Case Study #1- Building a Credible Digital Presence for a New IT MSP

Challenge:

Badir IT Services was a newly established Managed Service Provider that had a clear understanding of it what they do and who they serve, but lacked a professional visual identity and web presence. As a result, the company relied almost entirely on word of mouth and personal networks, which limited its ability to reach ideal clients in high-trust industries. The challenge was to create credibility while accurately representing services and ideas that were often technically complex to enterprise audiences who might not have deep IT knowledge.

Solution:

I led the creation of a cohesive digital ecosystem designed to establish credibility, clarity and visibility, working closely with company leadership and internal engineers. Engineers provided the technical depth and service realities, while leadership shaped commercial priorities; my role was to bridge these perspectives and translate them into clear, client-facing content.

  • Developed a strong brand identity aligned with enterprise-level clients, informed by ongoing collaboration with engineers to ensure technical accuracy
  • Rebuilt the company website to clearly communicate services and improve online discoverability, translating complex infrastructure and security concepts into accessible language for decision-makers
  • Created and structured a blog to demonstrate technical expertise and build trust, based on researched industry risks and engineer input
  • Wrote website and blog copy, grounding content in client needs, sector language and validated technical detail
  • Designed presentations, proposals, and bid documents to support outreach and sales, balancing technical depth with clarity for non-technical stakeholders

Coming from a non-IT background required quick learning, frequent clarification and iterations. As my understanding evolved, this led to several pivots in the messaging and content structure to strengthen the accuracy. The collaboration process itself became streamlined as I understood how to prepare for engineer meetings to gather the relevant information.

Results:

The project succeeded in positioning the company as a trustworthy service provider—capable of meeting the expectations of regulated and infrastructure-critical industries. The results were:

  • A shift from informal, relationship-based growth to a professional, scalable client-acquisition model
  • Enabled the business to credibly approach and engage ideal clients in banking, oil & gas, and maritime transport
  • Established a clear, authoritative online presence that communicated both technical depth and professionalism
I designed the website homepage to be clean and spacious with modern/futuristic imagery and words to show the forward thinking mindset of the company.

Final Thoughts:

Working with Badir IT Services shaped my approach to future work, strengthening how I collaborate with subject experts and communicate effectively between technical and non-technical audiences. I learned the absolute importance of listening to the company goals and technical capabilities/constraints and being able to translate what is most important and impactful to the relevant audience.
